Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and Sikhs celebrate this five-day holiday, also known as Festival of Lights, by lighting lamps called diyas, gathering with loved ones, and visiting temples to pray. The Diwali celebration outfit includes a colorful brocade choli top, a floor-length brocade lehenga skirt, a pink mesh dupatta, or shawl, a pair of strappy gold sandals, a doll-sized diya and various small accessories.
